First opened in 1992, the Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences is situated in the historical manor house 'el Camp d'en Prohom' an edifice that dates back to the last part of the 20th century. The museum is juxtaposed to the equally notable Botanical Garden which now occupies the spot of what used to be the territory of the mansion.
