POLLENCA PLACES OF WORSHIP
The Nostra Senyora del Rosari Church, next to the Cloister of St. Domingo, the Temple of Monti-sion and the St. Jordi´s Church are worth visiting.
THE STATIONS OF THE CROSS EL CALVARI
This trek is made by taking 365 steps, with trees bordering both sides, leading up the hill to the basilica that dates from the end of the 18th century.
THE CALVARI AND THE ROMAN BRIDGE
Erected by the Romans around 123 B.C, the Roman Bridge will lead you into the town of Pollenca. This bridge also houses the icon of the single-piece, 13th century Mare de Déu de la Creu (Virgin of the Foot of the Cross).
THE PUIG DE MARIA.
The Peak of Santa Maria is a refuge to be found at a height of 330 meters. Spectacular views of Pollenca await at its zenith.
EL CASTELL DEL REI (KINGS CASTLE)
This King’s Castle is the last fortress of the King of Mallorca (1343).
