There are excellent supermarkets in both Palma Nova and Magalluf that display a wide range of the well-known global products of different brand names. Not to be forgotten of course are the homegrown local produce and other merchandise. Palma Nova is near the town of Magaluf , wherein the transformed esplanade and boulevards are lined with several shops selling beachwear, keepsakes and a whole assortment of things that tourists may fancy. Better shopping can be found in Palma, just an easy taxi or bus ride away. Every Monday, there is a bazaar in Calvia , around six miles (10 kilometers) inland, which includes good buys such as porcelain, jewelry, and a variety of leather merchandise.
