In the north coast of Mallorca lies Ca’n Picafort, a town that is a part of the municipal district of Santa Margalida, and is the premier developed coastline in the area. It is 60 kilometers northeast of Palma, on the north coast of Majorca.
The town is generally dominated by German influence and architecture for the simple reason that many of the bars & restaurants target the German tourist.

| Back in the 1960’s, Ca’n Picafort, just like other towns in Mallorca, was just a small fishing village with only 200 people as residents. However, the incursion of tourists to the island transformed it to an important tourist get away at the start of the 1970's. With the present-day sight of Can Picafort, it will be difficult to imagine it as a former fishing community. Still, the resort has set apart a small working wharf from where a number of pleasure trips also leave more than a few times each day. The resort has a broad beachside walkway, lined with restaurants and bars to satisfy your digestive needs and lifestyle.
