Mallorca´s shopping habits are pretty much universal in character. Mallorca is famed for its shopping environment especially around Palma - the island s capital. Top designer shops and small boutiques can be found in the area, and even places where you can haggle hard and have great bargains with the traders (and that s the fun part for most tourists). Clothes shops, electrical goods, jewelry shops and of course plenty of the usual tourist merchandise shops can be found.
In Can Pastilla , the weekly market is on Thursdays. Other towns like Arenal , Ariany , Campos , Ciutadella , Consell , Inca , Portol , Ses Salines , San Joan , San Lloret, and Soller also have Thursday as their weekly market day.
